- Finish digging?
- Mulch beds with horse manure (not carrot and parsnip)
- Earth up Spring Cabbage - firm soil around plants
- Sow hardy broad beans if you want a really early crop
- Put tender herbs into pots and bring inside (eg French Tarragon)
- Add lime, if necessary, to pea and bean beds, OR brassica beds (whichever is furthest from potatoes in your rotation plan

Fruit
- Prune currant and gooseberry bushes - easier to see what you are doing after the leaves have fallen
- Take cuttings of currants and gooseberries
- Plant any new bushes and canes
